Kitchen By Mike

It’s not all factories and bike lanes in Rosebery, as we welcome the addition of all things gastronomic at Kitchen By Mike.

And by Mike we mean Michael McEnearney – former Head Chef at Rockpool and the brains behind the beauty at the sell out series of Mike’s Table Sunday night pop-up dinners.

Housed within the spectacular new Koskela design showroom, it’s here you’ll find Mike’s charming open-air cafe where the produce is ultra fresh, looking like something straight from the pages of a vegetable garden’s fairy tale book.

The menu changes daily (check their Facebook page to see what’s on offer) ensuring the snappiest of snap peas and peachiest peaches. For lunch choose from a plethora of glorious salads, paninis, tartines and pizza. Fancy a pork belly and rhubarb chutney panini with a salad of currant grapes, fennel and walnuts?

If breaky is more your thing, don’t overlook the stewed rhubarb with toasted muesli, and killer smoothies or try one of the devilishly tempting freshly baked muffins or pastries. While you’re there you may as well stock up on Iggy’s bread, fresh fruit, meat, and a selection of Mike’s own jams and chutneys.

Who would have thought veggies could be this good? This is one place you DO make friends with salad.
