Uniqlo Melbourne Opens

Simple things, done right. If your life is an unquenchable search for the perfect cappuccino, you’ll know how hard it is to find them.

Well now there’s a place you could go where the sweaters don’t pill after the first wash, and the tank tops don’t come with slogans explicitly proclaiming your love for rock ‘n’ roll.

Welcome to Uniqlo, a Pantone color chart of clothing where 100% cotton dreams are made of.  The Japan-born high street stalwart’s first Australian store is finally opening this Wednesday 16 April in Melbourne’s Emporium with its latest LifeWear range.

As proof to the power of closet staples, Uniqlo has rounded up five uniquely stylish Australians to play brand ambassadors. Are you a Sophie (Lowe), a Sarah (Donaldson) or a Jessica (Watson)? It’s like Sex and the City with perfect t-shirts instead of plunging necklines.

The store might be ephemeral, but style has longevity. And given the price point, you’ll have change left over to continue that coffee quest.
