Burger Lovers Rejoice

He’s baacckk! Sydney’s favourite foodie, Justin North, has resurfaced onto the culinary scene, swapping haute cuisine (Becasse, Quarter 21, Etch) for the humble burger.

You’ll need to head to Mosman to get a taste of North’s new project (owned by restaurateur and filmmaker Tim Jolley) – The Burger Shed – which, as you guessed, is a meat patty and bun kinda joint.

But don’t go expecting the regular affair; instead think free-range grain-fed Angus and Wagyu patties, house-made condiments, truffle parmesan fries, and house-made sodas and milkshakes. Vegetarians, don’t fret – there’s something for you too; a portobello mushroom gluten-free burger to knock your socks off and a seriously good fish taco with spicy sauce and sour cream.

After North’s foray into burgers at Plan B and Charlie & Co, it comes as no surprise he’s returned to the world of mustard and mayo. And a welcome return it is.

Burger lovers rejoice! We’ve just found you’re new stomping ground.
