Sake it to me at Ocean Room

Rice is nice but sake is better. Join Executive Chef Raita Noda and Sake Master Toshi Maeda for a masterclass that will leave you feeling like a sake samurai.

Work your way through six courses of chef Noda’s modern Japanese cuisine matched to Maeda’s handpicked selection of special tipples. The degustation focuses on spring ingredients so think of it as detox meets retox; perfect zen balance. Master Yoda would approve.

The sakes come from Tohuko in northeast Japan, a region where the chilly climate and abundance of fresh water results in some of the purest sakes in the world.

Work your way through everything from a 12-month-old Ranman Hanaranman Komachi Daijinjo to a dry and sweet Asabiraki Junmai Ginjo.

Kampai!
