Online boutique The Grand Social expands offline
Edition, a new fashion-focused concept store by the team at The Grand Social opens its doors today. A fashion meets art and business space designed by architect Tomek Archer which gives you a chance to interact with local fashion labels and more unusual finds.
In the store you’ll find a carefully edited selection of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories from Australian designers including the likes of Ginger & Smart, JORDY by Jordan Askill, Fernando Frisoni, nathan smith, The Horse, ELLERY, Beat Poet and LIFEwithBIRD. Handpicked books and zines from local indie publishers IzRock Pressings and RAINOFF Books.
In the art and multimedia space expect regular events, exhibitions and installations. Local and international artists are on the calendar, with photography and film collection The-Aeon holding the first show. Pop in later during the year and you’ll find works by photographer Rene Vaile, Director/Video Artist Kris Moyes and The Sydney Dance Company.
The kind of space where clothes hang just as rightly as does the art.
