Corelle® Portofino 12 Piece Dinner Set
If your dinner set is looking tired, chipped and mismatched, a new 12-piece set could be just the order. Corelle Vitrelle glass dinnerware is incredibly durable – my mother has had her set for 40+ years! Stylish and lightweight, this dinner set is less likely to chip as it has a triple layer of glass which makes it super strong. The plates and bowls stack tightly so they save significant storage space compared to other brands. The side plates are a decent size, fitting two pieces of toast easily, compared to my old set that only fitted one piece on the plate. I chose the stunning Portofino design which made me feel like every meal I was eating my way around Italy. A beautiful asset to your kitchen which makes every bite a pleasure! RRP $149. Pyrex® Centurion Forged™ Utility Knife 12cm, Pyrex® Centurion Slicing Knife 20cm and Knife Sharpener
Upgrade your kitchen on a budget with the new Pyrex® Centurion knives, launched in March. I was lucky enough to try the Utility Knife and the Slicing Knife. They are weighted beautifully and the handle feels comfortable when slicing and chopping. I was impressed with how unbelievably sharp these knives are – they slice effortlessly through fruit, vegetables, roast meats and fish. They feel and perform like knives at a much higher price point.
If you prefer to use what you have, the compact Pyrex® Knife Sharpener might be all you need. With a useful suction base for stability, the sharpener boasts dual sharpening stones – you start with the course stone and then finish with the fine stone. It worked miracles on my old, tired knives which desperately needed a refresh. A must-have for your kitchen. Pyrex® Centurion Forgedâ„¢ Utility Knife 12cm, RRP $14. Pyrex® Large Glass Cutting Board
I have never been a fan of glass chopping boards due to the loud bang my blunt knives made on an old glass board when cutting. Using the Pyrex® knives with this chopping board has made me reconsider this long-held opinion. Pyrex® has created a durable glass chopping board which is hygienic and avoids staining. Non-slip bands on the underside of the board ensures it doesn’t slide around. It has incredibly useful cutting guides to ensure even slicing and even circle measures to ensure my dumpling wrappers are the same when I roll them out. Genius! RRP $15. Available at Global Kitchen Brands and BIG W
