No spoilers: french films

Alliance Francaise French Film Festival
The opening was sluggish, but the flick picked up quickly after the lead had his melt-down. You expected the steady stream of conflict but didn’t understand why until Plot Point 2. The showdown was predictable but the resolution left a good feeling in your stomach. The epilogue had you laughing out loud…

It’s rare to walk out of a movie theatre and not explore “what did you think”?
The Alliance Française French Film Festival organisers agree, and after some of this year’s best Festival movies, will host a Cine Club session to debrief. A forum to swap impressions on films, the characters and dialogue, a chance to learn more about the story, the director and actors.

Say “oui” to as many as 34 new films and documentaries in the line-up for the 20th Annual French Film Festival.
