New furniture pop-up store

It’s a sign of these modern times that purchasing goods should be a rare treat…a blink-and-it-will-be-missed experience of knowing what’s happening and precisely when.

This Modern Times pop-up shop is hawking sleekly beautiful Danish style – a place where classic furniture from well-known 1950s and 60s designers mingle with pieces created by local designers with a nod to vintage aesthetic and workmanship.

Know the difference between a Hans Wegner and an Arne Vodder? This is the spot to pop in. Don’t dawdle though. In three weeks all this will be gone – hand-screen printed cushions and lamps and all.

To make it a little more inclusively exclusive, there is an opening night on Friday, May 20. Consider this an invitation to go between 6-8pm. It’s thanks to the support of MOJO wines by Rockbare and Cricketers Arms Lager.

Shop, drink and definitely be merry. For tomorrow, it may not be there.
