Markets in the square

New Darlinghurst street markets

Making highlights, adding embellishments – if anyone can do it spectacularly, the folks around Darlinghurst can. The most recent addition is a new Taylor Square Community Market; and a prelude to welcome this year’s Mardi Gras parade.

All day footpath trading along Oxford Street and a transformed Taylor Square will see local retailers taking to the streets with their independent fashion, urban art, entertainment and design.

You can join a two hour local art tour run by Tap Gallery leaving the markets at 2pm or pick up emerging art pieces at a stall set up by the Oxford Art Factory.

There’s a first time for everything. This market’s set to make an entrance.
