The LUPA effect

Forget Italian leather goods and French luxury fashion. These days it’s all about keeping things local. That’s the motto behind LUPA, the lovacore fashion store committed to sourcing local designs that’s moving into Fitzroy.

Taking over Melbourne one suburb at a time, you’ll also find Davina Adamson’s longstanding Westgarth Village store cropping up in Smith St.

This is no cookie-cutter High St shop. Featuring pieces from collections of more than twenty Melbourne designers, LUPA’s stock is always unique and often unexpected. Everything has been designed and made in Melbourne, giving local manufacturing houses a head start.

Davina’s own in-house LUPA line is coming soon but the beautiful love children of her collaboration with jewellery designer Raymond de Zwart are already on sale.

Outfitted by everything from genuine caravan paneling on the walls and hand-welded clothing racks, to elaborate hand-carved wood work by an instrument maker, this is a store for anyone who’s after something that’s definitely different.
