Get Kinky at Hinky Dinks

If you reckon you know a good cocktail when you taste one, back away from the Negroni and make a bee-line for Sydney’s latest temple of cocktails, Hinky Dinks.

The only thing serious here is the knowledge behind each pour, so sit back and let the expert staff take you through a host of classics and originals that’s sure to send you spinning (in the good way).

Named after Michael ‘Hinky Dink’ Kenna, a corrupt Chicago politician who owned a bar and would give away drinks to the homeless in exchange for votes, it’s a little nod to the seedy gangster culture Darlinghurst was famous for…and the retro stylings pulled together by winning design group Luchetti Krelle complete the picture.

A fun place to while away the darker hours, there’s also a menu crafted by Leif Etournard, the man previously behind the awesomeness that is Onde, so it’s damned fine on the food front, too.
