Don’t Freak out! But FREAK OUT is coming to Melbourne for one night only.
Freak Out! The Afterparty is the finale to the ultimately glorious Midsumma festival. Midsomer is the famous Queer arts cultural organisation that brings together a diverse mix of LGBT artist and performers. The past month has been a huge success of festivities with a carnival, a pride march, and much more. But all colourful things must come to an end, and it’s going to be a freak out! The nail binding finisher is set on 7th of February.
This late night spectacular event is going to be wild, loud and absolutely fabulous. Think an awesome mix of burlesque, circus and cabaret acts, with some jaw dropping talent. And all set to some amazing 90s house music soundtrack.
Set in the iconic Speigeltent, this festival jovial and colourful show with a full throttle sweaty glitter is a celebration of dance floor freedom, set to capture the ‘euphoria of queer nightlife at its peak.’ To echo the words of creator and host Flynn B “When the world feels overwhelming, I turn to music, FREAK OUT is my way of creating that escape.” Get excited for the incredible cast, including vocals powerhouse Milo Hartill, iconic drag superstar MAX Drag Queen and fire breathing sensation Clara Fable.
There will be plenty of acts in this eclectic night, with lots of surprises and expect the unexpected. One thing is guaranteed, that is an evening of dance, joy and outrageously fun times. Dont miss out!
