Fame favours the furry

A call to adopt Rufus, Roland and Cherokee

What do you get when you combine twenty-one of Australia’s top photographers, eBay, Adshel superlites, creative masterminds M&C Saatchi, 63 of Sydney Dogs and Cats Home’s finest residents, not to forget the odd rabbit and duck?

Introducing ‘Limited Edition’, a collaborative photographic exhibition and online auction. The objective? To capture Sydney’s hearts by motivating people to bid for a one-off print, adopt the animal in it, or donate to the SD&CH.

Each photograph has been signed by the photographers themselves (you’ve probably seen one strategically displayed around town). Gradually as the animals are adopted, or artworks sold, either a ‘Sold’ and/or ‘Adopted’ sticker will feature on each of the prints.

The final phase of ‘Limited Edition’ will see an entirely new series of art on display, with those adopted animals then being photographed and featured alongside their new owners and inside their new homes.

Everyone involved in the project has donated his or her efforts for zilch. If you’ve got both the space and the best intentions – get bidding stat.
