Endless Summer

Manly has Food and Wine. Bondi has Sculpture by the Sea.

And now the Sutherland Shire has bragging rights to something other than sparkling beaches, halcyon vibes and reality television potential.

Welcome to Endless Summer.

Leave your hot pants at home, halt the fist pumping and bring your appetite when this free-entry, festival calendar newbie takes over Cronulla’s magical Gunnamatta Park for three days in December.

Taste your way around the region with food and wine from Notaras Seafood City, The Old Library, Pure Gelato, Love Crepe, Lisa McGuigan Wines, and a Big Australian BBQ line-up. Forgo the mass-produced souvenir t-shirts for a smorgasbord of local craft stalls, live installations, and tree-top chandeliers.

And in terms of music, the festival is hitting it out of the lush, water-lined park. Bluejuice, The Preatures and Touch Sensitive are among those armed with drum kits and synthesisers rather than ukuleles and handlebar moustaches, laying down the soundtrack to your Endless Summer.

It’s the Sutherland Shire, but not as you’ve seen heard, heard or tasted it.
