It’s a reimagined classic as each bottle carries its own blend number (mine’s Création 258), since the house was founded in 1760. This is a tribute to the house’s 260 year history. Confession, Lanson is one of my personal favourites as its big, bold, autolyse sytle hits lall my champagne buttons. Thi s bottle is so special. It is amber-gold with orchard fruit, citrus, and a brioche. The magic for me is in the layers: reserve wines aged in both stainless steel and oak, a touch of malolactic fermentation for roundness, and a backbone of Lanson’s signature acidity. Steph Pase Signature Planner – life overhaul starts here
We’re calling it. Steph Pase is the Marie Kondo of life admin. Opening a big box of blush pink planning materials (hello luxe pens and glam wall calendar!) certainly sparked a serious amount of joy over here. The entrepreneur and mum of two is an open book about her ‘messy ADHD mind’ and her quest to help others calm the chaos. These well considered, easy to use planners will do just that, and then some. Alongside daily entries, the Signature Planner has sections like the ‘Monthly Brain Dump’, cleaning schedules, and even a Budget Challenge. EVERAU® Australian Lambskin Wool Long Rugs
Who knew that UGG goes beyond the iconic boot to rugs? It’s super soft – like, sink-your-toes-in-and-never-leave soft and slim, which makes it feel almost like the poshest runner you’ve ever stepped on. I’ve got mine draped along the side of my bed, so it’s the best feeling on the feet, though it works just as well on the bed or over a chair. It’s made from genuine Australian sheepskin, it’s one of those pieces that instantly elevates a space and makes everything feel a bit more five-star hotel, a bit less everyday apartment. Kind Collective – Glow Up the Beauty Aisle at Woolworth
I’m always on the hunt for beauty brands that don’t make me choose between great products and doing the right thing, and Kind Collective genuinely ticks all the boxes. This Australian-made, 100% vegan and cruelty-free brand has seriously impressive sustainability credentials (they’re B Corp certified), and the fact that they’re now stocked at Woolworths makes gifting ridiculously easy. The range covers everything from complexion to lips, all packed with natural botanicals like Kakadu Plum and Rosehip Oil. I’m obsessed with their lip oils – the Hydrating Lip Oil collection is non-sticky, deeply nourishing, and gives that perfect glossy finish that actually lasts. The Smooth Grip Primer is another star in my kit. It hydrates while creating that grippy base that makes makeup go on like a dream and stay put all day. Dreame Hair Miracle Hair Dryer
I’ve been loyal to my GHD for years, but the Dreame Hair Miracle has completely changed the game. I’m not just impressed, I’m throwing (regifting) out my old dryer. It arrives in a stunning leather suitcase that looks more like luxury luggage than packaging. Inside, is the dryer along with five different attachments: diffuser nozzle, styling nozzle, smoothing nozzle (amazing!), anti-frizz nozzle (also amazing), and an essence nozzle with cartridge. With a brushless motor spinning at 130,000 rpm and an airflow speed of 70 m/s, the Dreame dries my naturally curly, shoulder-length hair in just under three minutes. Compare that to the Dyson Supersonic’s 110,000 rpm or traditional dryers that top out around 20,000 rpm, and it is a step up. It uses 00 million negative ions per cubic centimetre to neutralise static and seal hair cuticles, which leaves my hair noticeably smoother and shinier. The four temperature modes and two speed settings give me flexibility, the LCD display makes it easy to see exactly what setting I’m using. At 57dB, it’s remarkably quiet, noticeably quieter than my old GHD and on par with a Dyson whch I have previously reviewed. famously hushed operation. I’ve put this through its paces on different hair types during styling sessions, and it performs beautifully across the board. We’ve all got someone in our life who lives on the edge. Of battery life that is. The Twelve South HiRise 2 Deluxe is the polite way of ensuring they’ll no longer skirt the dreaded red battery symbol ever again. Why? Because it’s dead easy. No cords, no connection points, just two charging pads on a slimline stand. One charging pad is magnetic, and up to 15W, which we found extremely handy to double as a stand for FaceTime with the family (or even Zoom calls if you’re in a pinch).
