Burch and Purchese Sweet Studio store opens

New dessert wonderland for adults

Attention all you sweet-tooths. There’s a new destination that’s set to get your heart racing; Burch & Purchese Sweet Studio pops up tomorrow in South Yarra.

The original dessert concept store is the first retail shop for UK pastry chef co-owners Ian Burch and Darren Purchese. Burch & Purchese is a dessert wizardry, think Charlie’s Chocolate Factory, but only for grownups.

With experience at some of Melbourne’s most renowned restaurants including Vue de Monde, Fenix and The Press Club, Burch & Purchese have built up a reputation as the leaders in contemporary dessert designs.

This super-sweet studio is the home to mouth-watering ganache, delicate pastries, cakes and homemade confectionery that is sure to have you drooling.  The creations are modern and forward-thinking and Burch & Purchese use new technologies and techniques, while keeping true to important traditions.

We all need a little indulgence – this unique dessert wonderland is the place to find it.
