Blind Tasting

Wine and theatre go together like Bogie and Bacall or popcorn and movies. Milling around waiting to go in? Grab a wine from the bar. Interval? More wine. End of the show? Wine and a debrief.

But what about during the show? Blind Tasting, the new one woman show from actress Sylvia Keays, weaves Shaw Estate Vineyard wines from Canberra into whole theatre experience.

Described as ‘part performance/part wine tasting’, the show is arriving in Sydney after sold-out seasons at the 2012 Adelaide and Melbourne Fringe Festivals, as well as performances in Los Angeles.

For one night only, Sydneysiders will be treated to a tale of wit, whimsy and heartbreak all centred around Bacchus’ favourite tipple. Not your usual Tuesday night out then? Well, apart from the wine …
