Controversial question – are fish and chips overlooking the ocean about to be relegated to the history books? If GetSashimi has anything to do with it – the future is clear, the freshest of top quality sashimi is available on Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach.
From the founder of GetFish, the new GetSashmi offers premium quality fresh seafood fresh from the morning boats.
It’s a fast paced shop front, with a colourful variety of beautiful fresh seafood in the display, fileted – begging to be sliced and consumed. An 18 seater sushi-train is housed behind the takeaway counter. The train is fully stocked with salmon sashimi, oysters (at $2.50 a piece) and innovative sushi moments including strawberries and blueberries combined delicately with salmon.
The prices of GetSashimi are perfect for popping in – getting a few hundred grams of freshly sliced sashimi and ether take home or wander down to the most famous beach in the world to enjoy the mind-blowing view. For a tiny $9.99 you can walk out of GetSashimi with 100 grams of Tasmanian salmon or tuna for $12.99 per 100 grams. Fresh, fabulous, fish.
There’s also poke bowls for those that want something more substantial for a very reasonable $13.90.
We’re hoping more GetSashimi spots pop up across the city – and make top quality seafood accessible and a healthy option to fried food and endless carbs that are on offer when you leave the house.
