Union Dining

Television is full of wanna-be cooks figuring out their blanching from their blending but Nicky Reimer is the real deal – a true chef master. Correction…mistress.

Her culinary skills have been put to fine use across Melbourne in recent years, with her kitchen talents linked to Trunk, Melbourne Wine Room and Richmond Hill Café and Larder.

Along the way, no doubt, she’s picked up a few extra tricks to maintain her reputation as one of Melbourne’s leading female chefs. Her latest venture, Union Dining, has just opened and with Cutler & Co’s white-hot front man, Adam Cash leading the business venture charge, expect great food and the coolest, inner-city style.

The uber-coupling of these restaurant scene minds now calls Richmond’s Swan Street home, with Union Dining setting up shop in the heritage-listed Union House. Provincial European food is the order of the day and the ambience all far-flung trattoria, served with a dollop of uniquely contemporary Melbourne class.
