The Thousands Shop

If you’re the kind of person who appreciates “the hunt” where it’s all about sourcing something urban, underground and achingly hip, you’ll be excited to discover this little gem.

A retail and experiential experience for early adopters, The Thousands Shop offers some artfully curated and interesting products like; Jonathon Zawanda’s latest publication, limited edition silk print and leather bags, or maybe it’s a new pair of handmade wooden handlebars for your bike?

The Thousands crew have great taste and this shop allows them to showcase, support and promote designers like Trust Fun!, Birthday Suit, ffiXXed, 2 by Lyn and Tony to name a few. The space itself is all about appreciating the design behind the product and is all artfully displayed with thoughtfulness; don’t expect a DJ spinning tunes on Saturdays and bubbly sales girls handing out the latest catalogue.

What’s unique to the space though is the fact it’s often used to host talks and screenings and recently hosted a presentation by Phil Oh from Street Peeper and if you’re feeling like a spot of mid-week retail therapy, you can check out their online store to satisfy the appetite.
