TEDxSydney ideas worth spreading

One can only *wink*, *nudge*, *whack* so much.  In case you missed out on the opportunity to “apply to be in the main stage audience” for TEDxSydney, you can still attend the live community event to be held in the CarriageWorks foyer this Saturday 22 May, produced by The Chaser’s Julian Morrow.

Not yet acquainted with TEDx? Powerful Talks curated for your hearing and admired for their spread-worthy ideas. Starting in 1984 as a series of impressive annual meets interested in technology, entertainment and design, it’s now a global movement with a Who’s Who speaker list including Poet Rives, Al Gore, Bono, Bill Clinton, Mary Roach and Hans Rosling.

Between pauses in one super packed Sydney speaker program expect the TEDxSydney Forum to be buzzing. There’ll be interviews with TEDxSydney speakers by Craig Reucassel , a Q&A session with the speakers, live poetry readings from The Red Room, as well as live music and performances.

Bring a cushion to rest on and a blanket to keep you warm.  And brace yourself for a big bang of suppositions and stats, anecdotal thinking and interesting facts. Ideas you won’t be able to resist sharing.
