Stokehouse City, which is now open, will bring the known Stokehouse St Kilda offering to the CBD. Upstairs Ollie Gould will bring his refined dining experience to the table with the likes of baked Harvey Bay scallops, Western Australian truffle, parsnip puree, and citrus sabayon. Downstairs, the kitchen will be run by Nick Mahlook and bring in those more casual dishes like the buffalo ricotta and rainbow chard cannelloni with mint, walnut, and raisin burnt butter, or the roasted 300g Rangers Valley flank steak with salsa verde.
The interior (once a darker, sleeker vibe) has been re-imagined by Melbourne designer, Pascale Gomes Mcnabb who was on hand for the St Kilda Upstairs re-design. The new space is lighter, bringing that beach vibe to the city streets and offering a refined, yet playful space for people to enjoy this stunning food.
