Shoes of Prey

You hunt, you prey – solo and in packs; whatever it takes to find the perfect shoes. It’s a genetic trait that has been passed down from generations, a predatory skill you might say.

Knowing that women are constantly in search of the perfect fit, the founders of Shoes of Prey have pounced on a bespoke shoe concept.
Jodie (the custom-shoe designer), Michael (husband) and Mike (an ex software engineer at Google) have spent nine months perfecting their just-launched website Shoesofprey.com. It allows you to literally construct your bespoke pair – the solution to any outfit or occasion.

Step 1: Choose the toe – Peep or closed? 12 toe styles to select from.
Step 2: Choose the back – Mary-Jane perhaps?
Step 3: Choose the heel – the 4.5 inches are popular, but maybe 2.5 if your other half prefers you don’t tower over him.
Step 4: Trims and decorations – think leather bows of all shapes and sizes, silk rose posies and buckles
Step 5: The all important colour – head says stick with perennial black, heart – splash out with electric blue.  As for the materials how about soft leather, shiny leather, patent, suede, hair, fish skin or snake skin?
Step 6: Save and purchase. Within 30 days you’ll have your custom-made pair delivered to your doorstep.

Go in for the kill.
