Say Goodbye – Good Food Month Night Noodle Markets last hurrah!

Fifteen years ago, the Sydney food scene was a whipper-snapper on the world stage. Global critics talked of Michelin Stars – London, New York and Paris were hailed as the leaders of gastronomy. Meanwhile our multicultural city started to come of age.

For many of us food fandom started with our first real democratic experience of what Sydney did best – hawker food. The Night Noodle Markets brought this to life. We chomped food from hailed chefs, cool up n’ coming talent and multicultural hero’s who suddenly got a metro spotlight. Under the stars, with our mates, we needed no schmazy fit out. We were smitten. Over the years NNM has been somewhat over loved as crowds, queues, left us with no space to spin a chopstick.

Foodie del Mar

So its time to say goodbye. NNM is moving to a new bigger location in 2020. So embrace eight wok filled nights with our favourites such as Gelato Messina, Johnny Bird, Let’s Do Yum Cha, Chur Burger, POKLOL, Puffle, Twistto, Flying Noodle, and Wonderbao.

If you are a Citi cardholder you’ll get the VIP treatment with a restaurant style experience including waiter service from Wonderbao, Poklol x Puffle, Waffleland, Foodie Del Mar’s Fusion Flavourbombs, Raijin and Hoy Pinoy. Make sure you book. Jacob’s Creek Wine Tipi is the top tip with long tables under cover just make sure you don’t miss the double barrel shiraz come rain or shine!
