Quick digi draw

Cut&Paste
You may have learnt how to cut and paste in kindy, but this tournament isn’t for small fry. You could call it the Olympics of rapid fire digital design.

Cut&Paste arrives in Sydney on the last stop of its world-wide tour, having travelled to creative hubs such asBarcelona and Tokyo.

This year’s format expands to include 3D and motion design competitions, as well as 2D from years past. Come and watch artists from your very own backyard do virtual back flips in order to impress the judges, as they vie for favour and a ticket to the New York finals.

Cut&Paste say their aim is to ‘demystify the creative process’. See first-hand how an artist’s ideas are born, and how they translate them through their work.

Think you can mix it with the big guns? Enter the 3D Audience Design Contest. Just turn up on Saturday night, whip up your own creation in lightening speed and you could be joining the winners circle in the Big Apple.
