They can ruin your furniture, your favourite shoes too, and you still find yourself bound endearingly to them.  It’s a perplexing arrangement for non-furry friend owners, and a relationship Marc Gaffen – an established commercial and portrait photographer – has been oft privy to.

Dubbed The Phodographer, Marc will take you and your puppy love out for a shoot in the wilds of your local park or beach. He’ll brave saltwater, wind and the occasional raised leg to deliver a range of portraits that capture the true essence of your dog’s character.

Weekends book up quickly and cost $200 per shoot. Week days are quieter with a fee of $150. Custom prints start at $125 and gift vouchers are available for your canine-adoring friends.

Love isn’t just a four-letter word. It’s also a four-legged creature that steals your socks, licks your face and loves you unconditionally.
