MBFWA 2013: Romance Was Born

What everyone is talking about: Who needs to go to Amsterdam, we’ve got mushroom magic right here. The sorbet psychadelic set by Anya Schultz of Pip and Pop (a dead giveaway of acid tripp’n things to come). Anna take a twirl, and Luke, take a bow – you’re both leading the charge in brilliant Australian fashion.

The Collection: Is it the Laduree-lolly-esque looks, psychedelic wonderland set or romance of the clothes that puts us in a Disney fairytale? Romance meets galactic. Coloured chaos, where classic fairytales morph into something that is out of this world.

The Look: Makeup has no limits with explosions of colour and candy-like creations topped off with bright wigs. Each princess look centered on a cosmic them but with a slight difference in each girl – whimsical and intensely intriguing.

Addicted to: We were totally mesmerised by this fantasy for grown-ups show. Cheshire Cat and mushroom mad prints to play ultimate dress up with.
