MBFWA 2013: Camilla and Marc

What everyone was talking about: Take a bow, in 2013 designers Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman of Camilla and Marc celebrate their 10 year anniversary.

The Collection: ‘Concentric’ unfolds like the layers of a Matyoshka doll – symbolising the brand’s layered past. Vivid elegant prints, opulent textures – in a blink transpire from french lace to gold jacquard, and signature Camilla and Marc sharp silhouettes.

Addicted to: Femme fatale skirts with thigh high slits, ‘that’ gold white croc-embossed bell shaped leather skirt. Black french lace making an appearance away from more private realms soon.

A 10 out of 10 opening for the first Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia show at Carriageworks. No more harbour views here, but organisers have opened with one slick operation.
