Lotus Dumpling Bar

Here’s Sydney’s very own answer to dumpling royalty. They call her Lotus Dumpling Bar.

Think of this as your urban-dwelling answer to one exponentially stylish Chinese food-cart.

Step within the distressed brick and Chinese calligraphy painted walls and take a seat at the bar. The fuss-free menu (perfect for the indecisive) is like having a conversation with a dear old friend. One who knows exactly what you want.

Lucy Luo, described as Australia’s ‘Chinese Queen of Dumplings’ will tempt you with her daily fresh pinched and pressed morsels. Her signature Xiao Long Bao (Pork soup dumpling) recipe makes it impossible to stop at one (or three).

The crispy eggplants with honey and chilli set your tastebuds alight, and there’s no shame in ordering the sweet and sour crispy chicken here.

With his mathematical precision, who else but Led Emmett to help you navigate the cocktail menu? He’s got a wicked way of interpreting the law of Espresso Martini-making.
