Dreaming of a white winter festival

Ice rinks and alpine treats
Your White Christmas in July fantasies are about to come true. After bringing a winter wonderland to Sydney’s CBD and Bondi Beach, the Winter Festival is about to take over Queensbridge Square.

Put on your mittens and make like Torville and Dean on a supersized 600m2 outdoor ice rink, or watch the experts stick their salchow jumps and double axel landings on opening night.

Though it’s super chilly outside you can warm up with a mug of glühwein (mulled wine), cup of steamy chocolate or just get closer to the one you’re with. Introduce your palette to Alpine delicacies including Dutch poffertjes, German bratwurst, viking barbeque and kransky.

And whilst you can’t quite sled you’re way around there’s plenty of cool DJ beats and a roaring hot fire to keep your blood circulation flowing. Time to get your skates on.
