Clicquot In The Snow

If you consider yourself a bit of a snow bunny, Clicquot In The Snow is the most happening week on the winter calendar.

As August begins, Thredbo Village gives itself up to fun for the entire first week, with a snow picnic, degustation dinners and an avalanche of activities.

Forget bad bain maries laden with luke-warm lasagnes. This is dining style at its finest – and all washed down with bubbles. Clicquot…In The Snow. When the morning might start with Eggs Benedict and a flute of fine fizz, it’s got to be a good day.

Seeing celebrities battling it out on their limited edition branded snow tubes will surely be a highlight of this particular wintry wonderland and when the week ends there’s the Clicquot Classic Ski Race, which pits snowboarders and skiers against each other in competitive style.

That’s the daytime hours taken care of. Post-sunset, hit the bars and clubs of the Thredbo Village. Still just want to chill? DJ Beth Yen spins sounds for the season.

It all started in Aspen back in 2007. Since then, it’s snowballed into international fun. Luckily, the trip to this particularly local Clicquot carry-on is but a car ride away, with gorgeous scenery to boot.

Bubbles and beanies – pure adult fun.
