Two Row educating beer drinkers now

Two Row

Craft beer and Melbourne’s Inner North go together like mac and cheese, or wine and cheese, perhaps. The newest venture to satisfy this pairing is Two Row in Fitzroy.  One half of the team behind Fitzroy’s newest craft brew spot Two Row is Chris Menichelli from Slow Beer. Slow Beer in Richmond has been educating the masses on craft beer in their small beer shop cum bar, Australia’s first bottle shop dedicated to craft beer, for a while now.  Tiffany Waldron (aka @beergirlbites) one of the many behind Good Beer Week, beer list consultant, and serious authority on craft beer, is the other half of this beer dream team. We’re already convinced, really.

Two Row is beer focused, this is apparent, with five rotating taps of good quality brews that are not playing it safe. They’re local, international, limited release, and never regular.  There’s also a bottled beer selection.  Think the Bridge Road Bergamotto IPA, and the Rogue St Rogue Red from USA.

For those not drinking beer there is a wine list that again, doesn’t play things safe and a handful of independently produced small-batch spirits.

With all this beer, there needs to be food. Don’t fear, there is a range, yes, a range, of grilled cheese sandwiches, and a cheese and charcuterie selection that is hand picked to compliment the beers.

Beer nerds unite.
