Truffle Melbourne Gets Decedent This July

BCT-141

Truffles have a weird and wonderful effect on people. It’s usually either a love or hate situation, but when it’s love, it’s true love. The rich, decadent ingredient can transform dishes from a standard meal, to pure indulgence. In all the right ways. Truffle Melbourne, the two-day festival on July 11 and 12 is about celebrating all there is to celebrate about the ugly but delicious produce.

Over the two days The Centre in Ivanhoe will become a three levelled home of all things truffles. As you walk through the door, you’ll receive a fresh truffle, just to sweeten the deal even more. From there you’ll get to explore artisan food and drink stalls, eat truffle based dishes, indulge in a three course lunch with matched wines, meet truffle sniffing dogs, taste truffle infused bites, and hear from some of the industry’s finest as they take to the stage. Just to name a few… Guy Grossi and well-known French truffle master Chef Philippe Mouchel will be running cooking demonstrations throughout the weekend.

With an expected 600 visitors and $250,000 worth of truffles, it’s set to be a big indulgent weekend.
