Exotic, dramatic and sensory-overload. Yep, it’s Sydney Festival time. But we’re not talking about what’s happening on the stage, we’re talking about performances on the plate. Festival Feasts is back, and it’s better than ever.

Partaking in world class culture, whether it’s watching dance troupes or performance poetry, is hard work, but the Sydney Festival has you well looked after.

Restaurants around the city are throwing open their doors for pre-and post-theatre diners with special two and three course menus that are fantastic value – we’re talking set $30 and $55 dollar menus designed to whet your appetite and get the creative juices flowing.

Savvy Festival goers will know this is your chance to try top notch restaurants without breaking the bank – more money to spend on festival tickets! Our top picks are The Star’s Black Bar & Grill has a $55 two course menu; the heirloom tomato salad with a generous serve of buffalo mozzarella, and an excellent grass fed Angus beef fillet, or how about a beautiful amuse bouche, main and side from the stunning Park Hyatt Dining Room. There’s more than 20 restaurants around the city to choose from, so get cracking!

If you’re more in the mood for something quick and casual, check out the Meriton Festival Village and The Beach at The Cutaway down at Barangaroo for pop ups from some of your Sydney favourites. Think Portena and Bodega, Cow & Moo. You won’t go hungry that’s for sure!
