Fashion on Fire with Camilla Franks
Of course this week is all about what’s coming down the runway. And you can anticipate hearing more on the ‘new black’, who’s gone all tribal, and from which era threads are making a comeback (think shoulder pads and ‘more is more’).

“Fashion on Fire with Franks” is one on-your-schedule event espousing much more than the usual covetable looks. For A Cure Foundation’s fundraiser is in aid of cancer stem cell research and hosted by Camilla Franks. Where during a three course sit-down you can be one of the first to view her new Spring-Summer 2009/10 Collection paired with shoes by Cosmopolitan Shoes.

Hear guest speaker Professor Peter Gunning from the School of Medical Sciences at The University of New South Wales talk about his own research breakthrough with stem cells and cancer.  An auction on the evening will also help raise funds to support grants for researchers working on cancer stem cell projects and laboratories direct.

A night all about frocks on-trend and fundraising on-cause.
