Ignite Sydney 2
We Sydneysiders can now claim our own piece of a Speakers’ Corner. To freely assemble and pipe up with what’s on your mind, as long as it’s kept to a presentation format of less than 20 presentation slides each lasting just 15 seconds.
You might have attended the first Ignite Sydney back in January. Like last time, expect conversation topics on anything and everything, rapid pontificating but never dull or shy speakers. Whilst they don’t have President Obama’s oratory status, they’re passionate about their varied subjects and to keep you suitably entertained.
Adam Hunt (Goatboy) gives his elucidation on why T-shirts with logos are corporate fellatio; Ashley Ringrose (Soap Creative) unveils what comes to pass during the hidden work hours from 10pm – 2am; and Mike Hill (Holler Sydney) espouses the importance of earthworms.
Katie Chatfield (Jack Morton) articulates how Technology is a bridge for curiosity, conversation and making stuff happen, whilst Michelle Cheah speaks about volunteering in PNG.
Opinions on ‘Brainstorming’, ‘A Pirate’s Guide to email design’ and ‘celebrating Sydney’s creative diversity’ also get an airing.
Like to sound off? Ignite Sydney’s your corner.
