Design – art – create festival
Come March, Semi-Permanent arrives in Sydney bringing with it a host of inspirational artists and speakers celebrating design.
Now in its eighth year, Semi-Permanent draws international superstars to talk about their inspirations, challenges, and opinions on design today.
See photojournalist Ashley Gilbertson’s vivid and vibrant images, and graphic artist Jasper Goodall’s sexy prints. Typographer Jessica Hische reintroduces you to the beauty of the written word.
Eddie Zammit and Luke Fraser discuss T Magazine, and the story behind everyone’s favourite piece of clothing, while Jill Greenburg divulges the wondrous life of a designer.
Don’t miss wiz-kids Tin&Ed, plus broadcaster Craig Schuftan approaching design from a more philosophical point of view.
A special side-exhibition “Mixed Business” held at the Ambush Gallery features celebratory sketchers Travis Millard and Mel Kadel.
