You’d never break a code of secrecy. Silence is your middle name. They can torture all they like (even with threats to abstain from online purchases, chocolates and champagne) but they’ll never break you!
Such a reputation means you’re qualified to be part of an elite group known as Secret Foodies and Sydney’s surprise dining experience bringing together lovers of good food, wine and atmosphere.
Meeting at surprise venues across Sydney, you, along with an ever-changing team of undercover foodies unaware of where you’re going or who you’ll meet until 2 hours before the event will be taken on a flavoursome food journey with the Head Chef or owner of the restaurant in a unique dining experience.
Alex Adams (aka Ms Darlinghurst of Eat Drink Play), founder of Secret Foodies explains how it works. “Foodies buy a ticket and don’t know where they’re going or who they’ll meet until the night when they’ll receive a ‘SecretInfo’ text message revealing the address”.
It’s all about meeting new fellow food lovers, stepping out of comfort zones and releasing your inner food critic. Along the way you’ll learn about the food philosophy and passion behind your meal, and given a chance to review your experience online.
