Paspaley Polo in the City turns “Clicquot yellow” this year, with the Veuve Clicquot polo team resplendent in their signature yellow jerseys, Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label being poured in the coveted VIP marquees and the exciting addition of the Airstream in the exclusive Veuve Clicquot VIP Marquee in Centennial Park and Albert Park.
At the Paspaley VIP enclosure – an elegant two-storey marquee with New York style awnings, topiary hedges, Paspaley yellow touches and an elegant vibe – guests will enjoy Paspaley pearl meat canapés, champagne and bespoke cocktails at the bar on the deck. Located in the penthouse and throughout the marquee will be a gallery of stunning Paspaley pearl jewellery flanked by specially created Megan Hess illustrations.
Making it’s first appearance in Australia is the Veuve Cliquot Airstream, a luxury trailer that combines art, food and design in an aerodynamic, 50s-style diner. Whilst under the Land Rover Polo Safari, a giant African style tent designed by Rizer, guests can take in action in the company of the Range Rover Sport.
Some of the world’s highest rated players such as Ruki Baillieu and Rob Archibald (voted one of the world’s hottest polo players by Vanity Fair) will be in attendance to talk guests through the finer points of the game, as well as a celebrity crew including Jennifer Hawkins, Megan Gale, Grace Huang and Rebecca Judd.
Get ready to tread the divots, it’s chukka time.
