The brains behind the scheme belong to three ladies who independently run their own businesses within the industry. Sharing a love for Persian fetta and an aversion to tacky lighting, Marissa Fleming, Nadean Brennan and Jessica McLeod have amassed Sydney’s finest vendors for a boutique wedding fair that’s more carnival than convention.
Sip on champagne, soak up chilled acoustic tunes, spin a giant chocolate raffle and indulge your girlish fantasies in the Beauty Parlour. There’s even a Man Land where the boys can play ping pong, share a cigar and do something other than sift around tasting stations — though with fare ranging from food trucks to Aria Catering canapés, doing that doesn’t sound like such a bad idea.
