Travel for adventure enthusiasts
You’re a nut for health and fitness, and go bananas for summer sunshine. More importantly, you’re up for a holiday with a difference.
A Nuts & Bananas (yes, that’s its name) Multisport Adventure Holiday Camp will get the endorphins flowing. Held in Port Stephens (about three hours north of Sydney) it’s three days jam-packed with fun in the summer sun.
Take on kite surfing, mountain-biking and pick up some champion swim techniques from John Konrads and other Olympians. There’s yoga, standup paddle boarding and slack rope walking. Don’t worry if you’ve let your gym membership lapse – all fitness levels welcomed.
You’ll be staying at the Samurai Beach Resort, which is surrounded by waves, sand dunes and mountain-biking trails. Studio and villas available, most of which come with indoor or outdoor heated spas (and foxtel, for when your muscles are in need of recovery).
To keep you healthy and well-fed, Nuts and Bananas provide nutritious breakfasts, lunches, snacks and dinners throughout.
Nuts and Bananas. Weird name, cool breaks.
