A trip to the international airport brings nothing but good things – a new adventure, a break from the real world, and now… a culinary feast. To get you in the mood for a trip full of eating, we highly recommend getting started before you even board. Airplane food may have come a long way, but it still ain’t that good. Better things await you in the terminal.
Mach2 by Machiavelli is the new restaurant in Sydney’s International T1 Airport and it’s dishing up some might fine Italian fare.
The younger sister to iconic Machiavelli, the airport dining space is casual and will get you in the holiday mood (just in case being in the airport wasn’t enough). The kitchen is open and inviting and the walls feature historical portraits of famous icons like The Beatles and Alfred Hitchcock.
On the menu you’ll find the infamous Machiavelli pork and veal meatballs on a bed of fresh pasta, plus antipasto, calamari fritti, risotto and an all-day breakfast. Because when you’re in an airport, the time of day is completely irrelevant.
Also important to know is it has a full bar and wine list. Cheers to your holiday!
