Upstairs at the Society Inc shop there is a little studio and, in that studio, there is a secret.

It’s not just any secret either; it’s the key to turning your ordinary home into an exotic paradise.

Stylist, author and editor Sibella Court, who has more than 20 years of experience, is bringing her canny eye and deft fingers to the homes of mortal citizens via her new hands-on workshops.

Playing a game of ‘show and tell’, she’ll demonstrate tips and tricks for turning everyday objects such as sticks and stones into objet d’art. She will style a mantel, a place setting, a table centre and much more. You’re encouraged to ask a lot of questions, a process aided greatly by the fact you’re allowed to BYO wine.

The next workshop on Wednesday 16 March will feature a guest appearance by Leta Keens, author of  ‘Shoes for Moscow Circus’.
