If you thought ‘going green’ was all tie-dye and fisherman pants, time to think again. There’s a new hip way to show you care.
GreenUps is the meeting place for those concerned for the environment, and interested in sustainability. Turn up on the 1st Tuesday of each month, have a drink or two and let the ideas flow. Got fresh tips to look after our planet? Would you like to see your neighbourhood, or workplace doing more?
Set up by eco movers’n’shakers such as Dinosaur Designs, The Environmental Show, and Digital Eskimo design agency, GreenUps is made for networking. Already 532 cities around the world are on board.
Activism is the theme of the June GreenUps and the evening will include a ‘Shades of Green’ GreensJam, a series of 3 minute lightning talks on the different modes of environmental activism, hosted by Jess Miller from Greenpages.
You’ll need a gold coin to get you in (to cover the nosh).
