New GPO boutique opens
Walking into a Fleur Wood store, you might be forgiven for feeling like Alice in Wonderland slipping into the rabbit hole. The Fleur Wood stores are like living in a vintage treasure box with its mix of books, candles, chocolates, jewellery and of course the feminine, delightful creations from the latest collections.

Each store shares a sense of whimsy and eclecticism yet differs with their interiors and visual merchandising. The Strand Arcade store in Sydney has Ballerina wallpaper, the Chadstone store has black and white checkerboard floors and the newly opened GPO store has an obsession with antique style mirrors.

Before you think its all too frou frou for your taste, keep in mind the tongue in cheek products that make up the mix like the candy coloured soaps in the form of guns.

Fleur personally chooses the unique mix of product herself and travels regularly to keep abreast of what’s new and exciting; “To buy a product I must have that falling in love feeling – I want the store to be filled with off beat product that makes you laugh, makes you think or that you know you will not find anywhere else.”

So put on your Alice band, don your sorbet hued dress and get ready to fall down the rabbit hole into Fleur Wood heaven.
