Manly Pavilion doors open
A new take on an old world-charm recipe:
Combine two award-winning chefs, throw in a cocktail guru, a seasoned sommelier and incredible harbour views.
Let it set (for a few constructive months) and you have The Manly Pavilion Dining Room & Bar – Sydney’s latest culinary destination.
Housed in the original bathers pavilion from the 1930s, the interior is now fitted out with lavish dining room, lounge bar plus private dining room. Expect soaring ceilings, an Italian marble terrazzo balcony and unrivalled views of Sydney harbour out to the Heads. A relaxed beach vibe, and constant sea breeze.
Head chef Jonathan Barthelmess and James Parry (who was the 2009 Josephine Pignolet Young Chef of the Year) have put together a Mediterranean-inspired menu. Meanwhile, Grant Collins (Zeta Bar) whips up one of his famous cocktails, and Sommelier Michael Watts (ex-Astral) finds the ideal drop to accompany your meal.
