A touch of burlesque to pilates makes Burlates

They want ‘a lady in the streets but a freak in the bed’, or so the song by Usher goes. No one else has to know how you get your moves, but we think you might learn a shimmy or two from Rachel St James.

Back from an international circuit of performances, the femme fatale is introducing new fitness regime Burlates, an eccentric fusion of classic burlesque dance moves and pilates.

The fine print says no experience necessary but be prepared for a boost in sex appeal; and bring a willingness to work it. Amongst a group no larger than twenty Rachel will put you through your paces, all designed to tone and sculpt the body, build core strength, flexibility and most importantly self confidence.

After four weeks at Level 1 you will gain an intimate knowledge of “Burlates” moves in preparation for Level 2 where it’s time to put them in sequence for a dazzling Burlates routine.

Your new body will have you twirling around the boudoir in no time.
