We’re in the midst of a revolution. Power structures are being challenged, the social order is not what it was.
At the heart of it all is the venerable cuppa, but it’s not the kind chugged down on a smoko or sipped through a set of dentures from Royal Albert bone china.
Storm in a teacup is a boutique brewery giving the world’s most popular drink the appreciation it deserves. Victorian (the era) pomp gets the flick in favour of Victorian (the region) pertinence, with loose leaves sourced from all world origins. You’ve got your delicate whites, your nutty chai blends and your earthy Pu’er, and you’ve got peace of mind because they’re all ethically grown.
Raise a cup and keep you pinky where it belongs, because it’s procedure rather than fusty polish that makes these teas taste so disarmingly good. The Tea Bar uses a temperature controlled water delivery system to brew your beverages, which you can sip alongside local boutique beers, wines and spirits plus a delicious array of snacks.
Let them eat cake, if only because it’s an excellent excuse to pour another cuppa.
