The Comedy show you’ll never see on TV
Are you sick of seeing comedians being forced into faux journalism and watered down television appearances? Want to see your favourite acts tell the jokes they want to without fear of losing a job to a tv chef or a home renovator?
Monday nights, during the month of October, The Toff is helping comedy get back to doing it what it does best: be daring, be exciting, be down right funny.
The Shelf is the new live comedy show that kicks reality to the curb, bans TV chefs from the stage and is a home-renovator free zone.
Your hosts for the night are Justin Hamilton and Fox FM’s Adam Richard. They’re roping in their funniest mates to bring you the best and freshest live comedy loaded with stand-up, sketches, songs, chat, fun and games.
Feature Acts during October include Tom Gleeson, Denise Scott, Lehmo, Pete Helliar Dave O’Neil and weekly guests Adam Richard, Justin Hamilton, Tegan Higginbotham, European Man and many more to come.
Located between the iconic Cookie and the rooftop bar and cinema, trundle down to The Toff after work, grab a cocktail and chow down a meal before the show. Being a school night, The Shelf will wrap up the madness by 10pm giving you the white flag to kick on or kick off.
