Exiting a residential house carrying designer bed linen and one-of-a-kind artwork is normally the equivalent of pilfering cutlery from an upscale restaurant.
But here’s your chance to do so without risk of incarceration.
The Design Files is popping up for a second time this summer, transforming a stunning Windsor home into the ultimate sylised ad hoc design store.
The physical extension of the hypnotisingly good design blog will be laden with a tangible selection of beautiful wares, all selected by the discerning hand of Lucy Feagins herself.
Ditch the balaclava and fill your swag bag with trippy textiles by Marimekko, painterly artwork by the illustrious David Bromley and rustic furniture by recycler extraordinaire Greg Hatton. From colourful bedlinen to kitchenware and lighting, each and every item can be purchased on the spot.
And if your pockets don’t go deep enough for a Dkoku Kilim rug by Loom, there are quirky handcrafted accessories by Sydney’s Jen Booth, environmentally-friendly candles from Gasciogne & King and plenty of other stocking stuffers you’ll most likely end up keeping for yourself.
